Rev. Matthew Larson - Pastor
Pastor Matt Larson came to GSLC August 2006 and loves being back in Spokane. He graduated from Washington State University (go cougs!), and attended seminary at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, CA. He has been a Pastor for 10 years ministering in rural and town&country churches. He has been involved with music, youth ministry, and campus ministry and also has been involved with ecumenical ministries on a local and national level. Pastor Matt loves worship that is both traditional and spontaneous, and also contemporary in a way that says, “That makes sense, today!”
Barb Gwynn - Resident Seminarian
Barb Gwynn is currently enrolled at Luther Seminary, St. Paul, Minnesota. She is in her second year of a 6-year Master's in Divinity program, seeking the pathway toward ordained ministry. This unique program is tagged as "Distributed Learning," involving online classes from Spokane, short term intensive classes on campus in MN, and immediate involvement in local church leadership. Barb is a long time member of Good Shepherd . She also works as an Occupational Therapist and brings an artistic bend to enjoying life in Christ.
Marilyn Rounds - Administrative Assistant
In July of 1995, I became the Administrative Assistant at Good Shepherd. I have lived in Spokane all my life. I have attended Central Lutheran in downtown Spokane for over 40 years and was married there 39 years ago. I have four children and two grandchildren. I am presently Synod Council Secretary for the Eastern WA/ID Synod and served on the Candidacy Committee and Synod Council. I have been doing Secretarial work for more than 40 years. This has been a wonderful place to work and look forward to the future of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Marilyn Rounds
